Moxif ( Avelox, Generic Moxifloxacin )

Moxifloxacin is in a class of drugs called fluoroquinolone antibiotics. It works by stopping the life cycle of bacteria. It is used to eliminate certain bacteria that cause infections in your lungs and sinuses. Antibiotics will not work for colds, flu, or other viral infections.Moxifloxacin comes as tablet to take by mouth. It is usually taken once a day for 5 to 10 days. Moxifloxacin tablets should be swallowed whole with a full glass of water. It can be taken with or without food.

Permite ( Nix Dermal, Generic Permethrin )

Nix Dermal Cream is indicated for the treatment of scabies and crab lice. Treatment of scabies:Adults and children over 2 years old should apply the cream to the skin over the whole body including the palms and soles, but not the head and face. Pay particular attention to the areas between the fingers and toes (including under the finger and toe nails), wrists, arm-pits, external genitals and buttocks. Babies and children under 2 years old should be treated as above and also have their necks, faces, ears and scalps treated. Avoid the area around the mouth (as the cream could be licked off) and around the eyes. Children between 2 months and 2 years should only be treated under medical supervision.Elderly (over 65 years old) should apply as directed for adults and children over 2 years old but should also include their necks, faces, ears and scalps. Care must be taken to avoid applying Dermal Cream to areas close to the eyes. The cream should be left on for at least 8 hours, then washed off with soap and water not more than 12 hours later. Re-apply Cream to hands if they are washed with soap and water within 8 hours of treatment. The following table shows how much cream should normally be used: Adults (including Elderly) and children over 12 years: Up to one tube. A few adults may need to use an additional tube, but do not apply more than two tubes. Children aged 6 to 12 years: Up to half a tube Children aged 1 to 5 years: Up to a quarter of a tube Babies aged 2 months to 1 year: Up to an eighth of a tube The dosage recommendations given in this leaflet are only intended as a guide to treatment. Because individuals can vary so much in size you might find that you need to apply slightly more or slightly less cream to completely cover the body. This will not harm you or reduce the effectiveness of the treatment.Treatment of crab lice:Not recommended for persons under 18 years of age. The elderly should be treated under medical supervision. Adults 18 years and over: Sufficient cream should be applied to cover the pubic region, peri-anal (around the anus), inner thighs down to the knees and any hair that grows up from the pubic area to the chest/stomach.One (30 g) tube is more than sufficient to treat one hairy adult. It is recommended that up to a third of a tube is used to treat the pubic region, peri-anal region, thighs, stomach and chest. Not more than two thirds of the tube should be needed for complete treatment. For relatively hair-free individuals proportionately less cream will be required. The cream should be left on the skin for 24 hours. The treatment areas should then be thoroughly washed. Any facial hair (beards, moustaches) and eyelashes should be checked for the presence of live lice and eggs. Cream should be applied to any facial hair, carefully avoiding eyes. If live lice or eggs are found on the eyelashes they should be removed carefully using tweezers. Cream should not be applied to the eye lashes because the cream can cause moderate eye irritation.

Zithromax ( Generic Azithromycin )

Azithromycin is used to treat certain infections caused by bacteria, such as bronchitis; pneumonia; sexually transmitted diseases (STD); and infections of the ears, lungs, skin, and throat. Azithromycin is in a class of medications called macrolide antibiotics. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria. Antibiotics will not work for colds, flu, or other viral infections.Azithromycin comes as a tablet and oral suspension (liquid) to take by mouth. It is usually taken with or without food once a day for 1-5 days. To help you remember to take azithromycin, take it around the same time every day. Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Take azithromycin exactly as directed. Do not take more or less of it or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor.Shake the liquid well before each use to mix the medication evenly. Use only the syringe provided to measure the correct amount of medication. Rinse the syringe with water after taking the full dose of medication. The tablets should be taken with a full glass of water.Take azithromycin until you finish the prescription, even if you feel better. Stopping azithromycin too soon may cause bacteria to become resistant to antibiotics.

Metformin ( Generic Glucophage )

ARROW - METFORMIN Tablets are used to control blood glucose in patients with diabetes mellitus. There are two types of diabetes mellitus:type 1, also called insulin dependent diabetes mellitus type 2, also called non-insulin dependent diabetes mellitus or maturity onset diabetes. People with type 2 diabetes are unable to make enough insulin or their body does not respond properly to the insulin it does make. This causes a build up of glucose in the blood, which can lead to serious medical problems.ARROW - METFORMIN is used when diet and exercise are not enough to control your blood glucose levels. ARROW - METFORMIN can be used alone, or in combination with other medicines for treating diabetes.ARROW - METFORMIN can also be used in patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus where insulin alone is not enough to control blood glucose levels.ARROW - METFORMIN is not recommended for use in children except for those with insulin resistant diabetes who are being treated in hospital.Your doctor may, however, prescribe ARROW - METFORMIN for another reason. Ask your doctor if you have any questions about why ARROW - METFORMIN has been prescribed for you. There is no evidence that ARROW - METFORMIN is addictive.

All products are authentic brand names and will include a product information insert in English.Medical Information:Neurontin is used for: Treating seizures associated with epilepsy. It may also be used for treating nerve pain associated with herpes zoster (shingles) infection (postherpetic neuralgia). Gabapentin affects chemicals and nerves in the body that are involved in the cause of seizures and some types of pain. The exact way that it works is unknown.Gabapentin is used with other drugs in the treatment of some types of seizures and for the management of postherpetic neuralgia (nerve pain caused by the herpes virus or shingles).Gabapentin (GA-ba-pen-tin) is used to help control some types of seizures in the treatment of epilepsy. This medicine cannot cure epilepsy and will only work to control seizures for as long as you continue to take it.Neurontin (gabapentin) is indicated as adjunctive therapy in the treatment of partial seizures with and without secondary generalization in patients over 12 years of age with epilepsy. Neurontin is also indicated as adjunctive therapy in the treatment of partial seizures in pediatric patients age 3 û 12 years.

Diamicron ( Vivazide, Starlix, Diaglyk, Generic Gliclazide )

Insulin is produced by the pancreas and is the main hormone responsible for controlling sugar levels in the blood. It normally makes the cells of the body remove excess sugar from the blood. People with type 2 diabetes (non-insulin dependent diabetes) have a deficiency of insulin, and the cells of their bodies are also resistant to the action of insulin. This means that blood sugar levels can become too high. Gliclazide is a type of antidiabetic medicine known as a sulphonylurea. It is used to help lower blood sugar in people with type 2 diabetes. It works by acting on the cells in the pancreas that produce insulin. These cells are called beta cells, and gliclazide causes them to produce more insulin. Gliclazide improves insulin production immediately after eating. This is called early or first phase insulin secretion, and does not normally happen in people with type 2 diabetes. The enhanced insulin production results in a blood sugar lowering effect in response to meals or glucose, as occurs naturally in non-diabetic people. Gliclazide is used when dietary measures, weight loss and physical exercise are not enough to lower blood sugar levels in type 2 diabetes. Gliclazide has been shown to prevent blood cells called platelets from clumping together in the blood. It also increases the breakdown of blood clots that form within the blood vessels. This may help prevent the long-term complications of diabetes, which may be partly due to changes in the blood vessels caused by these mechanisms.

Seralin ( Zoloft, Lustral, Generic Sertraline ) - Product Origin: Eu (Turkey)

This product is able to be sourced and supplied at excellent prices because of favourable cross border currency conversions. All products are authentic brand names and will include a product information insert in English.Medical Information:Sertraline is indicated for the treatment of major depressive disorder in adults.Sertraline is used for: Treating depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), panic disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD; a severe form of premenstrual syndrome), and social anxiety disorder. Sertraline is an antidepressant in a group of drugs called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs). Sertraline affects chemicals in the brain that may become unbalanced and cause depression, panic, anxiety, or obsessive-compulsive symptoms.Sertraline is used to treat depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic disorder, anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD).Sertraline is prescribed for major depression--a persistently low mood that interferes with everyday living. Symptoms may include loss of interest in your usual activities, disturbed sleep, change in appetite, constant fidgeting or lethargic movement, fatigue, feelings of worthlessness or guilt, difficulty thinking or concentrating, and recurrent thoughts of suicide.Sertraline is also used to treat the following:Premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), a condition marked by a depressed mood, anxiety or tension, emotional instability, and anger or irritability in the two weeks preceding menstruation. Obsessive-compulsive disorder (unwanted thoughts that won't go away and an irresistible urge to keep repeating certain actions, such as hand-washing or counting). Panic disorder (unexpected attacks of overwhelming anxiety, accompanied by fear of their return). Social anxiety disorder (extreme shyness in social situations that interferes with an individual's work and social life). Post-traumatic stress disorder (re-experiencing a dangerous or life-threatening event through intrusive thoughts, flashbacks, and intense psychological distress). Sertraline belongs to a class of drugs called selective serotonin re-uptake inhibitors (SSRIs). Serotonin is one of the chemical messengers believed to govern moods. Ordinarily, it is quickly reabsorbed after its release at the junctures between nerves. Re-uptake inhibitors such as Sertraline slow this process, thereby boosting the levels of serotonin available in the brain.

Phetoin ( Dilantin, Phenytek, Generic Phenytoin )

Phenytoin is used to treat various types of convulsions and seizures. Phenytoin acts on the brain and nervous system in the treatment of epilepsy.Phenytoin comes as a capsule, extended-release (long-acting) capsule, chewable tablet, and liquid to take by mouth. It usually is taken two or three times a day. However, the extended-release capsules may be taken only once a day, usually at bedtime. Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Take phenytoin exactly as directed. Do not take more or less of it or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor.Shake the liquid well before each use.Do not open, crush, or chew the extended-release capsules; swallow them whole.Continue to take phenytoin even if you feel well. Combantrin ( Generic Pyrantel Embonate )

Treats pinworms / threadworms in a single dose. These anti-worm products will only treat the adult worms currently residing in the intestines. They will not treat the eggs or immature worms. This is why it is important to treat the whole family at the same time and to check roughly two weeks after the initial dose in case a second dose of treatment is required. This is because existing threadworm eggs in your environment can cause a reinfection and treatment will not prevent your children from contracting threadworm again if they ingest more eggs.Other infections: Roundworm and hookworm infections can be treated with Combantrin adult strength tablets but you should seek medical advice before beginning treatment if you suspect that you have either of these worm infections because they are often difficult to diagnose.

Tropan Xl ( Ditropan Xl, Generic Oxybutynin )

Oxybutynin is used to control urgent, frequent, or uncontrolled urination in people who have overactive bladder (a condition in which the bladder muscles have uncontrollable spasms), spina bifida (a disability that occurs when the spinal cord does not close properly before birth), or other conditions that affect the bladder muscles. Oxybutynin is in a class of medications called anticholinergics. It works by relaxing the bladder muscles to prevent urgent, frequent, or uncontrolled urination. Oxybutynin comes as a tablet, a syrup, and an extended-release (long-acting) tablet to take by mouth. The tablets and syrup are usually taken two to four times a day. The extended-release tablet is usually taken once a day with or without food. Take oxybutynin at around the same time(s) every day. Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Take oxybutynin exactly as directed. Do not take more or less of it or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor.Swallow the extended-release tablets whole with plenty of water or other liquid. Do not split, chew, or crush the extended-release tablets. Tell your doctor if you cannot swallow tablets.Your doctor may start you on a low dose of oxybutynin and gradually increase your dose, not more than once every week.Oxybutynin may control your symptoms, but will not cure your condition. Dibizone ( Actos, Duetact, Generic Pioglitazone )

Pioglitazone is an oral diabetes medicine that help control blood sugar levels. Pioglitazone is for people with type 2 diabetes who do not use daily insulin injections. This medication is not for treating type 1 diabetes. Pioglitazone (pye-oh-GLI-ta-zone) is used to treat a certain type of diabetes mellitus (sugar diabetes) called type 2 diabetes. It may be used alone, with insulin, or with metformin or another type of oral diabetes medicine called a sulfonylurea. Pioglitazone is indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise as a once-daily combination therapy to improve glycemic control in patients with type 2 diabetes who are already treated with a combination of pioglitazone and a sulfonylurea or whose diabetes is not adequately controlled with a sulfonylurea alone, or for those patients who have initially responded to pioglitazone alone and require additional glycemic control. Management of type 2 diabetes should also include nutritional counseling, weight reduction as needed, and exercise. These efforts are important not only in the primary< treatment of type 2 diabetes, but also to maintain the efficacy of drug therapy.
