Genteal ( Generic Hypromellose )

HypromelloseAbout hypromelloseThis belongs to the group of medicines known as ocular lubricants.Hypromellose eye drops are also known as 'artificial tears'and are used in the eye to relieve dryness and irritation caused by a reduced flow of tears. In certain circumstances they can reduce damage to the eye.Hypromellose can also be used as a lubricant for artificial eyes and to moisten hard contact lenses.Brands available include Isopto Alkaline and Isopto Plain. Before using hypromelloseBefore using hypromellose eye drops make sure your doctor or pharmacist knows:if you wear contact lenses if you have ever had an allergic reaction to this or any other medicine if you are taking or using any other medicines, including those available to buy without a prescription, herbal or complementary medicinesHow to use hypromelloseWash your hands well before use Remove the outer cap Tilt the head back and pull the lower lid of the eye down to form a pocket Hold the container between the thumb and middle finger of the other hand, turn the container upside down near to the eye, but try not to touch the eye Apply enough pressure to the container to release one drop Close the eye and keep it closed for a minute or two. If you think that you have missed the eye, then insert another drop Repeat in the other eye if you have been instructed to use hypromellose in both eyes Replace the outer cap on the container, trying not to touch the applicator tip with any surface, including the eye or fingers Wash your hands after useApply the drops three to four times a day, unless otherwise directed by your doctor. For very dry eyes, this preparation may need to be applied every hour.Getting the most from your treatmentIf you wear hard contact lenses, remove them before using the eye drops. Leave them out for at least half an hour before re-inserting. You should not wear soft contact lenses while you are being treated with hypromellose. If your symptoms do not improve within a few days, or if they become worse, check with your doctor or pharmacist. If you also have to use any other eye drops or ointments, leave at least five minutes between each one. Hypromellose should always be the last preparation used. When first instilled, hypromellose may cause blurred vision. Make sure you can see clearly before you drive, operate machinery or do other jobs which could be dangerous if you were not able to see properly. Can hypromellose cause problems?Hypromellose can occasionally cause a mild stinging sensation in the eyes, which should soon disappear as your eyes adjust to the new drops. If this continues or becomes severe or if you experience headaches, eye pain, changes in eyesight or constantly red eyes stop using hypromellose and contact your doctor or pharmacist for advice. How to store hypromelloseKeep out of reach of children. Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct light and heat. Discard these eye drops 4 weeks after opening Never keep out of date or unwanted medicines. Take them to your local pharmacist who will dispose of unwanted medicines for you.

Ceftum ( Ceftin, Generic Cefuroxime )

Cefuroxime is used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections. This medication is known as a cephalosporin antibiotic. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria. This antibiotic treats only bacterial infections. It will not work for viral infections (e.g., common cold, flu). Unnecessary use or overuse of any antibiotic can lead to its decreased effectiveness. How to use Cefuroxime Axetil OralTake this medication by mouth usually twice daily, or as directed by your doctor. Take cefuroxime with food to increase absorption and reduce stomach upset. Dosage is based on your medical condition and response to therapy.Swallow the tablets whole. Do not crush or chew because the tablets have a strong bitter taste. Use the liquid suspension form of this medication if it is difficult to swallow the tablets.Antibiotics work best when the amount of medicine in your body is kept at a constant level. Therefore, take this drug at evenly spaced intervals.Continue to take this medication until the full-prescribed amount is finished, even if symptoms disappear after a few days. Stopping the medication too early may allow bacteria to continue to grow, which may result in a relapse of the infection.Inform your doctor if your condition persists or worsens.

Viagra ( Revatio, Kamagra, Silegra, Generic Sildenafil ) - Product Origin: Eu (Turkey)

It works by dilating blood vessels in the penis, allowing the inflow of blood needed for an erection.

Daonil ( Diabeta, Glyburide, Glynase, Micronase, Generic Glibenclamide )

Glibenclamide is used to treat type 2 diabetes (condition in which the body does not use insulin normally and therefore cannot control the amount of sugar in the blood), particularly in people whose diabetes cannot be controlled by diet alone. Glibenclamide lowers blood sugar by stimulating the pancreas to secrete insulin and helping the body use insulin efficiently. The pancreas must produce insulin for this medication to work. Glibenclamide is not used to treat type 1 diabetes (condition in which the body does not produce insulin and therefore cannot control the amount of sugar in the blood).Glibenclamide comes in tablets to take by mouth. Oral contraceptives (birth-control pills) are used to prevent pregnancy. Estrogen and progestin are two female sex hormones. Combinations of estrogen and progestin work by preventing ovulation (the release of eggs from the ovaries). They also change the lining of the uterus (womb) to prevent pregnancy from developing and change the mucus at the cervix (opening of the uterus) to prevent sperm (male reproductive cells) from entering. Oral contraceptives are a very effective method of birth control, but they do not prevent the spread of human immunodeficiency virus [HIV, the virus that causes acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS)] and other sexually transmitted diseases. Some brands of oral contraceptives are also used to treat acne in certain patients. Oral contraceptives treat acne by decreasing the amounts of certain natural substances that can cause acne. One type of oral contraceptives (Yaz) is also used to relieve the symptoms of premenstrual dysphoric disorder (physical and emotional symptoms that occur before the menstrual period each month) in women who have chosen to use an oral contraceptive to prevent pregnancy. How should this medicine be used? Meloset ( Mel, Mlt, Generic Melatonin )

Melatonin is a hormone made by a part of the brain called the pineal (say: "pin-ee-all") gland. Melatonin may help our bodies know when it's time to go to sleep and when it's time to wake up. Melatonin supplements (in pill form) can also be taken. There are two types of melatonin that may be used in these pills: natural and synthetic (man-made). Natural melatonin is made from the pineal gland of animals. This form could be contaminated with a virus and is therefore not recommended. The synthetic form of melatonin does not carry this risk. If you are not sure if your melatonin is natural or synthetic, ask your doctor or pharmacist before taking it.Melatonin can be used to treat insomnia (difficulty falling asleep and/or staying asleep). It can also be taken to prevent jet lag. Beyond that, there is little scientific evidence that melatonin has a role in promoting health or treating disease.

Permite ( Nix Dermal, Generic Permethrin )

Nix Dermal Cream is indicated for the treatment of scabies and crab lice. Treatment of scabies:Adults and children over 2 years old should apply the cream to the skin over the whole body including the palms and soles, but not the head and face. Pay particular attention to the areas between the fingers and toes (including under the finger and toe nails), wrists, arm-pits, external genitals and buttocks. Babies and children under 2 years old should be treated as above and also have their necks, faces, ears and scalps treated. Avoid the area around the mouth (as the cream could be licked off) and around the eyes. Children between 2 months and 2 years should only be treated under medical supervision.Elderly (over 65 years old) should apply as directed for adults and children over 2 years old but should also include their necks, faces, ears and scalps. Care must be taken to avoid applying Dermal Cream to areas close to the eyes. The cream should be left on for at least 8 hours, then washed off with soap and water not more than 12 hours later. Re-apply Cream to hands if they are washed with soap and water within 8 hours of treatment. The following table shows how much cream should normally be used: Adults (including Elderly) and children over 12 years: Up to one tube. A few adults may need to use an additional tube, but do not apply more than two tubes. Children aged 6 to 12 years: Up to half a tube Children aged 1 to 5 years: Up to a quarter of a tube Babies aged 2 months to 1 year: Up to an eighth of a tube The dosage recommendations given in this leaflet are only intended as a guide to treatment. Because individuals can vary so much in size you might find that you need to apply slightly more or slightly less cream to completely cover the body. This will not harm you or reduce the effectiveness of the treatment.Treatment of crab lice:Not recommended for persons under 18 years of age. The elderly should be treated under medical supervision. Adults 18 years and over: Sufficient cream should be applied to cover the pubic region, peri-anal (around the anus), inner thighs down to the knees and any hair that grows up from the pubic area to the chest/stomach.One (30 g) tube is more than sufficient to treat one hairy adult. It is recommended that up to a third of a tube is used to treat the pubic region, peri-anal region, thighs, stomach and chest. Not more than two thirds of the tube should be needed for complete treatment. For relatively hair-free individuals proportionately less cream will be required. The cream should be left on the skin for 24 hours. The treatment areas should then be thoroughly washed. Any facial hair (beards, moustaches) and eyelashes should be checked for the presence of live lice and eggs. Cream should be applied to any facial hair, carefully avoiding eyes. If live lice or eggs are found on the eyelashes they should be removed carefully using tweezers. Cream should not be applied to the eye lashes because the cream can cause moderate eye irritation.

Epanutin ( Generic Phenytoin Sodium ) - Product Origin: Eu (Turkey)

This product is able to be sourced and supplied at excellent prices because of favourable cross border currency conversions. All products are authentic brand names and will include a product information insert in English.Medical Information:Epanutin capsules, oral suspension and infatabs all contain the active ingredient phenytoin, which is a type of medicine called an anticonvulsant. (NB. Phenytoin is also available without a brand name, ie as the generic medicine.) Phenytoin is used to treat epilepsy and works by stabilising electrical activity in the brain. The brain and nerves are made up of many nerve cells that communicate with each other through electrical signals. These signals must be carefully regulated for the brain and nerves to function properly. When abnormally rapid and repetitive electrical signals are released in the brain, the brain becomes over-stimulated and normal function is disturbed. This can result in fits or seizures.Phenytoin prevents seizures by preventing the excessive electrical activity in the brain. It is thought to achieve this by preventing sodium from entering nerve cells when they begin to fire rapid and repetitive electrical signals. A build up of sodium in the nerve cells is necessary for the electrical signal to build up and be passed on to other nerve cells. As phenytoin prevents this, it helps stabilise the electrical activity in the brain. As phenytoin stabilises electrical nerve activity, it can also be used to treat a condition called trigeminal neuralgia, in which the facial nerves spontaneously send messages of pain to the brain. Phenytoin prevents the nerve signals being sent inappropriately and relieves the pain of this condition. Phenytoin should only be used as second line therapy for this condition, in people who cannot take another medicine called carbamazepine, or for people in whom carbamazepine is ineffective. What is it used for? <>Epilepsy. Phenytoin is used to treat generalised tonic-clonic seizures (grand mal epilepsy) and partial seizures.Seizures associated with brain surgery or head injury.Severe pain in the lips, gums, cheek, chin or eye caused by a disorder of the nerves in the face (trigeminal neuralgia).
